Baked apple crescent roll pies

I had a little sweet tooth tonight so I decided to make these.  Super simple recipe that I sort of made up as I went.

Makes 2 pies


~ 1 tbsp of butter

~ 1 cup of brown sugar

~ 2 Gala apples, peeled and chopped to 1/2 inch pieces ( I could have went with just one but the left overs are just to tasty )

~ 1 package of crescent rolls

Preheat oven to crescent roll package directions

Mix the butter, brown sugar, and apples into a small sauce pan. Bring to a boil.  While those are cooking, lay out the rolls.  Pull them apart to make rectangles ( 2 ”rolls” still together ) pinch and press the seams together on both sides.  Do that for all 4 pieces.  By now the apples should be a little soft.  Spoon on the apples into the middle of 2 of the rectangles.  Place the remaining 2 rectangles on top and pinch the edges together.  Bake for about 8 mins or until brown on top.
